Morley 5/204 (Doug Laing 53, Andrew Guthrie 52no, James Naughtin 30, Leigh O'Mara 26) vs Lez-Maz 131 (James Farron 4/24, Richard Maisey 4/32). 10 wins in a row and counting. Well done guys. C grade were defeated by Middle Swan at Jack Mann. Morley 81 (Colin Devereux 31) vs Middle Swan 4/141 (Karan Kapoor 2/24). E grade defeated Middle Swan at Altone - Morley 9/171 (Michael Brown 59, Gowry "Shanka" Ponnudarai 22, Anthony DosSantos 21) vs Middle Swan 162 (Gowry "Shanka" Ponnudarai 4/20, Michael Brown 2/28) Hope to see you all at training on Thursday. Next Function (Quiz Night) will be held in February - Probably Sat 20th at this stage. Further details to follow next week. Our Club is excited to announce on our new website that we have established a relationship with the Morley Cricket Club in England. The relationship has been established with the aim of player exchanges, which will surely benefit both Clubs in the future. Committee member, Paul Guthrie, will be visiting the Morley Club (UK) in June 2009, with the aim of strengthening the tie between the two clubs. This event is quite historic for Morley (Aust) as, as far as we know, it is a first for a Club in the Swan & Helena competition. Josh Walker has committed to play there this coming season and arrangements are being finalised with Morley (UK) at this moment. Any players interested in playing with Morley (UK) next season or any following should contact Paul Guthrie.
