No flag to show for all the hard work, but the boys fought hard and did the club proud with their performance on the weekend. Our Club is excited to announce on our new website that we have established a relationship with the Morley Cricket Club in England. The relationship has been established with the aim of player exchanges, which will surely benefit both Clubs in the future. Committee member, Paul Guthrie, will be visiting the Morley Club (UK) in June 2009, with the aim of strengthening the tie between the two clubs. This event is quite historic for Morley (Aust) as, as far as we know, it is a first for a Club in the Swan & Helena competition. Josh Walker has committed to play there this coming season and arrangements are being finalised with Morley (UK) at this moment. Any players interested in playing with Morley (UK) next season or any following should contact Paul Guthrie.
